About Me
Hi! I’m Diana Vilchez, a bilingual licensed speech-language pathologist and the founder of Speech, Learn & Play, a boutique private practice serving the Miami community. With over a decade of experience in the field, my career began in hospitals, where I provided speech and cognitive therapy to adults recovering from neurological conditions. While I loved that work, it was during the pandemic that my passion for early intervention truly came to life.
In response to the growing need for language support in young children, I began offering Mommy & Me language enrichment classes in local parks; creating safe, playful spaces for toddlers to grow their communication skills while empowering parents with practical tools and strategies.
After two years of community-based classes, I transitioned to providing one-on-one speech and language evaluations and therapy services, focusing exclusively on early intervention for toddlers and young children. My mission is to support families during the most critical years of language development through personalized care, evidence-based strategies, and a compassionate, collaborative approach.
When you work with me, you’re not just getting a therapist, you’re gaining a partner dedicated to helping your child communicate with confidence!
