We follow your child's interests and let them guide the direction of the therapy session, allowing them to play with preferred toys and activities while the therapist incorporates speech and language goals naturally into the play, rather than dictating specific activities or drills to the child; essentially, the child leads the play and the therapist uses that play to target communication skills.

Family/Person Centered

This means actively involving caregivers or the person (adult client) in the assessment, goal-setting, and treatment process. We recognize the family as the primary support system of the child. We respect the knowledge and input of an adult client. We provide ongoing education and caregiver/parent coaching on how to support communication in everyday routines. We tailor interventions to fit the family's and child’s/patient’s needs and priorities.
